Khakarbadi
Amma's Meal (Gaon Ka Khana)
In our endeavour of back to origin , khakharbadi offers traditional Indian recipes cooked in the clay pot over the chula ( mud and cow dung stove made in villages )
The walls at khakharbadi is intricately weaved with khajur leaves by the local villagers while the floors are painted / laid with crowding ( know for its anti fungal and anti bacterial properties) for our guests to experience authentic village courtyard.
The cooking ingredients are mostly from local village produce and so is the recipes learned from the Ammas (village ladies ) , which helps our khakharbadi offer a distinct and authentic farm to fork cuisine
Clay pot helps add nutrients to the food and its alkaline nature neutralises the acidity in the food , which makes it easier to digest, it's slow cooking process retains the flavours , nutrients and moisture in the food
